What better way to celebrate occasions like Halloween or Christmas than with a special, themed pottery painting party. Or a great way to create a lovely surprise gift for Mothers Day, Fathers Day or Valentines Day.
I will bring the party to you, whether in your home, village hall, school or clubhouse. I’m based in York so can visit any venues in York or the surrounding areas. I am flexible with dates and times and I will come with everything you need to create your own useable masterpieces.
How do the parties work?
Remember to book at least 2 weeks before the seasonal date to make sure you get your finished pieces back in time!
You pre-order the pottery pieces of your choice and I can suggest options to suit all budgets. I have a wide range of seasonally themed bisque pottery so there’s something for everyone.
I arrive about 30 minutes before your event and will bring everything that your guests need for the painting. This includes the unpainted pottery, tablecloths, aprons, paints and equipment to help your designs such as stamps, writers and sponges. I will be on hand throughout the event to help and make sure your party is a success. Sessions usually last about 1-1.5 hours depending on the complexity of the ceramics and the speed of the painters!
After the party
I will clear everything away and take your pieces away to glaze and fire in my kiln. Then I will deliver the finished ceramics back to you 1-2 weeks later in individual gift bags for you to give out to your guests. The glaze is lead free and food safe.
Who are the parties for?
Seasonal themed parties are suitable for adults or children as a social get together, for families, as a club activity, for Brownies, Guides or for parties.
How much does it cost?
I have a wide range of options to suit all budgets so prices range from £12 to £30 per head. I’m adding to the variety of ceramics all the time so options include decorative items (such as spooky lanterns for Halloween or tree baubles for Christmas) or utility items (such as Skull mugs or pumpkin sugar bowls for Halloween or Snowman sweetie jars or Santa plates for Christmas). Prices are all inclusive with a minimum party size of 8 people and prices cover a 2hr time period (longer pick up times can be arranged).
